Hefei International Education College of Beijing Foreign Studies University China-Ukraine Joint Ph.D. Program Admissions Guide 2021

This project is co-sponsored and cultivated by Hefei International Education College of Beijing Foreign Studies University, Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University of Ukraine, and National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, with KAU-Risen Research and Education Center of Kyiv Academic University of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (China Office) as the project undertaker. The project was taught and guided by outstanding teachers from both China and Ukraine. A joint training base was set-up in Hefei International Education College of Beijing Foreign Studies University. English training will be conducted by Hefei International Education College of Beijing Foreign Studies University and doctoral training will be conducted by Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University of Ukraine and National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The KAU-Risen Research and Education Center of Kyiv Academic University of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine will assist students in their studies in Ukraine.

Beijing Foreign Studies University, Hefei International Education College (BFSU HIEC)

University Introduction

Beijing Foreign Studies University is directly under the Ministry of Education, the first batch of “Project 211” universities, a “985 innovation platform for superiority subject“ university, and is part of the first group of first-class academic discipline construction universities. The training of Beijing Foreign Studies University covers undergraduates, academic masters, professional masters, and doctoral degrees, as well as studying abroad, studying in China, and senior management training. Hefei International Education College of Beijing Foreign Studies University was established in 2018 and is committed to building a high-level foreign exchange and cooperation platform, an international cultural and technological integration innovation platform, and a national first-class application-oriented high-level talent training base.

Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University (TNU)

ounded in 1918, the university had 2 Nobel Prize winners in physics (ILya Frank & Igor Tamm). TNU is a level four national university directly under the Ministry of Education and Technology of Ukraine (equivalent to China’s 985), and is the first batch of Ukrainian public universities accredited by the Ministry of Education of China. TNU is a member of the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR), an accredited university of the Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) and the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG), and a registered member of the International Association of Universities (IAU).

National University of Life and Environmental Sciences (NULES)

National University of Life and Environmental Sciences (NULES for short in English, NUBIP for short in Ukrainian), was founded in 1898. The university was originally established under the Department of Agriculture within the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) structure. This department is now the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute’s” (ranked first among the universities in Ukraine) central building. NUBIP is a level four national university directly under the Ministry of Education and Technology of Ukraine (equivalent to China’s 985), and is in the first batch of Ukrainian public universities accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education. According to the academic rating issued by Ukrainian higher education institutions, the total number of winners of the “Young Scientist Scholarship” in 2020 is ranked first in Ukraine.

Project Benefits

The joint training model of the Chinese and Ukrainian universities does not require a separate preparatory course and there is no language barrier to entry.

The joint training mechanism of Chinese and Ukrainian universities guarantees teaching, defense, and graduation.

The students are registered as full-time at the Ministry of Education and Technology of Ukraine. The Doctoral Diploma is certified by the Ministry of Education’s Service Center, so there are no worries.
