On November 30, 2021, the teachers of the Mianyang Preparatory Center (Center of Preparatory for the National Technical University of Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute), the Chinese Representative Office of the National Technical University of Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, opened the first enrollment lecture of the National Technical University of Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 2022 in the Sichuan region. In the school’s multifunctional meeting room, more than 120 high school students gathered to listen to the detailed lecture brought by Mianyang Preparatory Center. During this time, Ms. Tang and Ms. Li of the KPI Mianyang Preparatory Center told the students about Ukraine’s national conditions, technological development, the friendly relationship between Ukraine and China, and the long history of the National Technical University of Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’s outstanding academic ability and graduate employment. Especially during the epidemic, starting from the perspective of students’ epidemic prevention and safety, the preparatory center courses were arranged so that students can learn knowledge, ensure safety, connect with Europe, and find employment. The students and teachers who participated in the conference spoke highly of the presentation and received a deep impression on the National Technical University of Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. After the presentation, more than 40 student registration forms with complete information were received, and they will be arranged to participate in a language proficiency assessment. The KPI Mianyang Preparatory Center will continue to carry out follow-up publicity activities in Sichuan Province, China in accordance with the requirements of the Chinese government’s epidemic prevention work. The epidemic has made the journey of international students more rugged, but through the KPI Mianyang Preparatory Center’s in-student publicity activities, the National Technical University of Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute opened its doors to Guangzhou University in the post-epidemic period, helping scholars move toward prestigious European universities and explore future technology.
