On July 7, 2021, organized by Risen International Culture Exchange Center in Ukraine, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (also known as NUBIP) and the colleagues of Tianjin University of Commerce in China held an international education cooperation discussion meeting.
Volodymyr Afanasenko, deputy director of NUBIP International Education and Science Center, participated in the conference and introduced to Tianjin University of Commerce the century-old history of NUBIP, the mission of the university, the teaching staff, the advantages of the study environment, and specialties, etc. The deputy director said: Exchange and cooperation with Chinese higher education institutions is one of the important areas for NUBIP to develop and expand. During the period, Ms. Larysa Bal-Prilipko, Dean of the School of Food Technology and Agricultural Product Quality Control of NUBIP, also presented the school’s learning environment, software and hardware equipment, student life and international exchanges.
Tianjin University of Commerce was represented by Director Pang and Deputy Director Huang of the International Exchange Office, as well as Dean Liu and Deputy Dean Guan of the School of Biotechnology and Food Science. Director Pang introduced the development history, professional characteristics and international exchanges of Tianjin University of Commerce. He especially thanked the students of the Department of Information Technology of NUBIP for their active participation in the The 7th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Through the invitation and recommendation of Tianjin University of Commerce, NUBIP students have now broken through the first stage and entered the semi-finals, and has been highly evaluated by the competition judges. We look forward to seeing the wonderful works of NUBIP students in the final.
During the meeting, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on cooperation in the field of international education, the prospects of organizing joint research in international projects, the feasibility of academic courses taught in English, teacher-student exchanges, the exchange of credits between the two universities, and offline interactive projects during winter and summer vacations.
Both parties signed a cooperation and exchange agreement and stated that they will start offline meetings and learning exchanges when the global epidemic improves.
